Pre-School, Pre-K and Kindergarten Program:  Sessions begin Saturday April 6, 2024 and will end Saturday June  1, 2024. Pre-School /  Pre-K / Kindergarten Session Times on Saturday mornings. Times are a first come, first serve basis. Once 30 players per session has been filled, the next time slot will open. The times are as follows (Times are subject to change):

• Pre-School Session 1:  11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (closed)
• Pre-School Session 2: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (closed)
• Pre-K Session 1:  10:00 AM - 11:00 AM (closed)
• Kindergarten Session 1: 9:00  AM - 10:00 AM (closed)
• Kindergarten Session 2: 12 PM - 1:00 PM (closed)

Pre-School, Pre-K and Kindergarten do not have week night practices. Practices/scrimmages are run on Saturdays only at the scheduled time and held at Victoria Park in Barto. Lisa Scott runs the practices with the help of volunteer parents. Lisa takes care of planning practices for the players and the volunteer parents are there to help supervise the players. 

First Games:

• 1st / 2nd grade: Saturday April 13, 2024
• 3rd grade through 12th grade:  Saturday April 13, 2024

• Practices are scheduled to start the week of April 1st. Depending on weather and volunteers could push the start back.
• Practices for 1st-4th grades are Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday 6 pm to 7 pm
• Practices for 5th-12th grades are Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday 6 pm to 7:30 pm
• Practices are held at Washington Elementary School, Victoria Park, and WTMA in Barto. 

• 1st Grade through 12th grade: Games will be scheduled beginning at 9:00AM Saturday mornings and extending throughout the day but games may be scheduled on Sundays and Friday evenings as well. Times of the last games on Saturdays will be determined by the number of teams. 
• If your child participates in an age group having an ODD number of teams, you should expect Sunday afternoon games to allow each team to play at least one game each weekend. Weeknight games will also be scheduled if needed.
• Rained out game days may be made-up on Sundays or weeknights.

Final Scheduled Games:

• Pre-School through 2nd grade:  Saturday June  1, 2024
• 3rd through 12th grade: Saturday June 1, 2024

Make Up Game Day - All Age Groups:  Saturday June 8th /Sunday June 9th (Can be done earlier if both teams agree)

Make Up Deadline (last possible makeup games): Sunday June 9th

REQUESTS: 

• In the 1st/2nd grade age group, a maximum of two transportation requests (in date order received) will be allowed for any one player per age group.  Siblings in the same age group will count as one player. Example: Sally Smith is a first grade player.  John Fox and Louise Moyer request Sally for carpool purposes on January 10th and 12th.  This is OK.  Brenda Davis registers on January 20th and requests Sally as well.  This will not be allowed because Sally already has two requests. 
• Stacked requests will not be honored.  From the above example: Brenda Davis requests to play with John Fox for carpooling.  This request will not be honored because John has already requested to play with Sally for carpooling.
• All transportation requests will be reviewed and approved by the Intramural Director. The purpose of the change to transportation requests is to discourage "team building".  Requests that appear to be for the purpose of team building will not be honored or may be modified (ie, players in a stacked request may be placed on a different team that would still allow some carpooling.)  
• Requests for specific coaches will not be honored at the intramural level. Parents may ask for one coach that they do not want their child to have.

Due to the way players and teams must now be reported to EPYSA, Pre-School through 2nd Grade is called INTRAMURAL and 3rd through 12th is now called RECREATIONAL in the registration system.  BSC continues to regard both as parts of the BSC Intramural program.

Boyertown Soccer Club offers a structured Intramural Program that provides quality soccer instruction during two separate seasons; in spring and in the fall.  Our Intramural Program allows children ages 3-18 to play the game of soccer in a fun, educational environment with structured practice time and games.  The Intramural Program focus is player development while providing a great soccer experience to foster a love of the game in our children.

BSC Intramural Spring/Fall Age Group Information:

• Pre-School / Pre-K/ Kindergarten – Meets once a week with Lisa Scott on Saturday’s for 60 minutes.  Participants will be provided a T-shirt. The time will be split between skills and scrimmage.
• 1st Grade through 4th Grade – Meets twice weekly (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for approx. 1 hour practices. Games are played primarily on Saturdays, with the occasional weeknight or Sunday game against other BSC teams.  Participants receive a full uniform of jersey, shorts and socks. 3rd and 4th grades will play in the Suburban County Soccer League. There will be a boys team, and a girls team. If we are unable to create enough teams at gender only, coed teams will be added.
• 5th through 12th Grade - Meets twice weekly (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) for approx. 90 minute practices (3rd and 4th grade meet for 1 hour).  Games are played primarily on Saturdays (9:00am to 4:00pm start times) but there may be Sunday or Friday evening games. Participants receive a full uniform of jersey, shorts and socks. These teams participate in the Suburban Counties Soccer League (SCSL), comprised of teams from Amity, Coventry, FC Montco, Exeter, Perkiomen Valley, Phoenixville, Pottsgrove, and Valley. This league is in place to allow for more teams in a division, while it also adds a level of intrigue for the players who have their chance to compete against a neighboring club. Please check the SCSL website for more information regarding the league and schedules (Suburban County Soccer League). 
• If your child participates in an age group having an ODD number of teams, you should expect Sunday afternoon games to allow each team to play at least one game each weekend.  Sunday games will not be scheduled any earlier than 1:00PM.

Equipment - Please put your child's name on all soccer balls, drinks and outerwear.

• All players must wear shin guards under their socks during practice and games.  This is mandatory.
• Players are not permitted to wear jewelry of any kind (for safety reasons).
• Soccer cleats or turf shoes are recommended but sneakers are allowed (No Metal cleats or Baseball cleats).
• A soccer ball should be brought to all games and practices (per size info noted below): Pre-School, Pre-K and Kindergarten - Size 3 soccer ball / 1st through 6th Grade - Size 4 soccer ball / 7th through 12th Grade - Size 5 soccer ball.
• ​A water or drink bottle.  (No glass/breakable bottles please!)

Registration opens for Spring on January 1st and for Fall on the 1st Monday in June. Registration closes once an age group is filled or the first game of the season.
