The Strikers played some hard fought games in the down pour rain at the Battle at Hilltop soccer tournament, finishing in second place in its division. Great job, boys!
The BSC Strikers played two hard fought games on Saturday in the RBJSL U9 playoffs. In the semi-final game, the Strikers needed overtime to get past the Amity Blue Devils, with a final score of 2-1. That win put the Strikers into the finals against the Pottsgrove Predators. The Strikers were very persistent and when regulation ended, the score was tied at 2-2. Shortly into the overtime period, Pottsgrove was able to put away a goal, dropping the Strikers 3-2.
The Strikers played a wonderful season, and I was so proud of all of the players for their growth and committment throughout the fall! Congratulations Strikers!!
