EPYSA Indoor State Champions

February 12, 2012, Scranton, PA - Sixteen teams from across Eastern Pennsylvania took part in the indoor state cup tournament today, including such powerhouse clubs as PA Classics, HMMS, Lower Merion, Lighthouse, FC York and the Rage. At the end of the day, Boyertown United took home the championship. Clinching their division by going undefeated against West Mont, Haverford and HMMS, United met Wyoming Valley in the semi-final. Finding the back of the net early and often, the boys advanced to the final against Quakertown Soccer Club. Rounding a wall, and besting the 'keeper on a direct kick, United took the lead about 10 minutes into the match. While it was a battle to the end, United continued to strike throughout the game. The match ended 3 - 0 in Boyertown's favor. This is the second time United has won the Indoor State Cup; it's first title was in 2009.

Thanksgiving Classic

November 19th & 20th, Downingtown, PA - Playing with no substitutes for 4 games this weekend, United came home with 2nd place from the prestigious USTC Thanksgiving Classic (formerly Primo Cup). Well done, boys!

Battle at Hilltop

August 27, 2011, Boyertown, PA – With Hurricane Irene bearing down on the late afternoon games scheduled for United, the boys played-on and came home with second place from the event. United won their matches against West Mont Lazers and Warrington Wolverines, but lost the championship to Harleysville FC.

Danny Bevilaqua Memorial Tournament

August 13, 2011, King of Prussia, PA - United scored 6 goals in 4 games, and only had one scored against them the entire tournament. Unfortunately, that one goal was the difference between first and second place. Playing good, quality soccer against teams from King of Prussia, Haverford, Hereford (Maryland), and Methacton, the boys won three, lost one, and took home second place behind Hereford's first place finish.

Whitewater Cup Champions

May 28, 2011, Forty Foot, PA - United returned to The Whitewater Cup Classic this weekend. Missing a couple of players on the field due to late-season injuries, the team was determined to showcase their skill and fitness. Playing teams from Yorktown Heights, Lindenhurst, and Levittown New York, the boys put on a quality display of soccer and sportsmanship. United went undefeated in all three matches, and took home the first place cup.

RBJSL Spring Champs!

May 21st - Going undefeated in the 2011 RBJSL spring campaign, United secured its place at the top of the table. Their skill, fitness, determination and good sportsmanship has been rewarded, and the team is looking forward to the fall season with great anticipation.

Quarry Classic

May 7th & 8th, Wyomissing, PA - Returning to the Quarry Classic after taking home 1st place three years ago was bitter-sweet for a United squad that has maintained many of the same players from the original 2008 team. United came on strong Saturday, going undefeated in all three matches. The Sunday championship was against an Ephrata squad that United beat in the first match of the tournament Saturday. Unfortunately, United had suffered broken bones in the preceeding match which left the team with only one sub for the final. The boys played great soccer, but in the end Ephrata was able to eek out a 3-2 victory, and United was forced to settle for 2nd place.
