Boyertown Soccer Club will be implementing a new fundraiser program which will enable families to receive significant savings throughout the year from participating Boyertown area merchants. BSC will implement the BSC Community Discount Card which will offer discounts at local restaurants and businesses. The card will be good for one year. On the back of the card there will be a list of fifteen merchants that will offer various discounts.
The card can be used repeatedly throughout the year at all the sponsoring merchants and it can be used by anyone who presents it.
Registering families will pay $20 during their registration which will give them two cards. Families can keep both cards, resell a card or give the other as a gift. This fundraiser will replace the $25.00 opt-out fundraiser. Extra cards will be available for purchase as well. The proceeds from this fundraiser will help offset the cost of maintaining fields, buying new equipment, grass seed, fertilizer, goals, nets etc. This fundraiser will be implemented for the 2010 Fall registration.
Congrats to the Cooprider family who is the latest family to be sent by Boyertown Soccer Club to the Philadelphia Union! The Coopriders will be taking four people to enjoy the Union as they face the New England Revolution in what will prove to be an exciting game.
Last month, BSC sent the Bouthillette family to the sold-out home park opener against the Seattle Sounders. Please join BSC in support of soccer in all it's forms - Youth, Pro, Mens, Womens. It's a beautiful game!
The Philadelphia Independence lost the game 3-1, but those who boarded the bus and/or drove themselves to join BSC night at Philadelphia Independence were treated to a fun time. Marta - the best female soccer player in the World - scored twice. Nicole Barnhart, the BSC Hall of Famer, played well and stayed to sign autographs for all of us. In addition to that - atmosphere was created with horns, drums, signs, cheering, etc.
